The Ross-Blakley Law Library is the central point for the distribution and preservation of the faculty scholarship of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. There are two primary ways for faculty to publish their scholarship online.
The Sandra Day O'Connor Faculty Scholarship Repository
The Sandra Day O'Connor Faculty Scholarship Repository provides easy access to the scholarly works of the Sandra O’Connor College of Law’s faculty. The repository is designed to capture the scholarly output of our faculty in a form that features excellent organization, permits subject and keyword searching capability and offers full text access.
Law school policy encourages all faculty to publish their scholarship on SSRN. SSRN was founded in 1993 in order to create a way for scholars to share their work and research long before their papers worked their way through the long publication process. SSRN objectives are to provide worldwide distribution of research, facilitate communication between scholars, researchers, and other users.
How to Submit Your Scholarship for Online Publication
Submitting your scholarship for online publication is easy with our online submission form. By filling out and submitting this form your publication will be posted to the Faculty Scholarship Repository and to SSRN.
A Note on Copyright: If you do retain copyright for your publication it will be posted as an open access document to the Faculty Scholarship Repository and to SSRN. If you do not retain copyright your publication will still be available in full-text format in the Faculty Scholarship Repository via ASU's electronic database subscriptions, i.e., HeinOnline, Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw. For information on managing your copyrights, please see the Ross-Blakley Law Library's Scholarship Resources web site. There is a section on the site, Copyright Management, which contains sample publication agreements.
To make a revision to a previously posted publication, send an email to Leslie A. Pardo at email@example.com the subject line “Working Paper Revision.” Attach the revised paper to the email. In the text of the email, include any changes to the author(s), title, abstract, or keywords. We will update the Repository and SSRN and upload the new version of the paper. You will be notified when the revisions have been completed.
Your contributions may be withdrawn from the repository or SSRN at any time at your request.
If you have any questions, please contact Leslie A. Pardo, Repository Project Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 480-965-3579.
